Summary

Your document content never leaves your machine. Checked Law stores the audit trail inside your .docx file. We do not receive, store, or process the text of your legal documents.

What we collect

• Anonymous website statistics (page views via Vercel Web Analytics — no cookies, no personal identifiers)
• Anonymous download statistics when you download the add-in manifest (browser type and referring page only — no IP addresses, no identities)
• Your email address and message, if you contact us for support

The add-in itself

The Word add-in requires no account or sign-up and makes no network calls with your data. Everything it records — marks, verdicts, names, timestamps — is stored inside your own .docx file and stays with you.

Where data is stored

• Download statistics: Supabase (EU region)
• Website hosting and analytics: Vercel (EU region where available)

Processors

We use Supabase (download statistics) and Vercel (hosting and analytics).

Your rights (GDPR)

We hold no account data about you — there are no accounts. For any privacy request or question, email morten.engervik@marstrand.no. Audit trail data inside your documents is controlled by you — it is not stored on our servers.
